We stayed at Residence Inn Los Angeles Redondo Beach for 9 nights in July 2025. Traveling with my wife and two kids, we always prioritize comfort and prefer suites over standard rooms. The one-bedroom corner suite in Room 405 was a great fit for us. Before arriving, I had read a few reviews about noise concerns from the nearby freeway. Our bedroom did face the freeway, so I was a bit apprehensive. To our surprise, it was not noisy at all. The room was quiet, comfortable, and well-suited for an extended stay. One of the highlights of our visit was the Manager, Charles. During breakfast one morning, he stopped by our table to chat. It was a thoughtful gesture that left a positive impression and showed strong, guest-focused leadership. The daily breakfast was consistent and appreciated. We also enjoyed using the BBQ area on the Fourth of July. It was a nice touch that added to our experience. However, there is some room for improvement with housekeeping and a few members of the breakfast team. Housekeeping was scheduled every other day, which works fine for long stays, but the quality of service varied. Not all staff, but some, seemed to lack attention to detail. Overall, we had a lovely stay. With a few adjustments and perhaps a refresh of some of the facilities, this property has the potential to go from great to exceptional. We would definitely return.

Overall it was a clean room and had a full fridge and dishwasher and small stove. The pull out couch was broken and we had to have staff come and pull it out. Complimentary Breakfast is served daily and its a good spread with several options. Service was good when you asked for it but it was not consistent with the schedule they set. The cleaning service does bedding once a week with extended stays.however, after the room service, the bed was made but never changed the sheets until I asked them to redo the room. The hot tub was not functional and the pool was not well kept. Parking was another issue. You have to pay additionally for parking at the cost of $20 per day. There is on site laundry facilities at a cost of $2.50 per wash and $2.50 per dry. There is also a small gym as well as tennis courts and basketball nets. It was a nice stay overall with a few hiccups.

I think this is my first time at a Residence Inn and I was impressed. Check-in - Well, I got a notification about two days prior to my reservation that I could check-in online. I stopped by the front desk on arrival and they said they don’t have the mobile check-in so no big deal but Marriott should probably not offer a service that this hotel does not provide. Common Areas - They were renovating when I was there, but the only thing I noticed was the elevators were padded for moving furniture. Again, no big deal. The breakfast was one of the better ones I have seen. Hot he’s and waffles, and just about everything else. It was a step above the norm. Again, employees there were very pleasant. The decor was nice and comfortable. (I hope they don’t renovate the lobby) The room was also better than expected. Studio-type suite with the bedroom separated but not closed off from the living area. Plenty of space with a work table and a dinner table for two. The kitchen was much much better than any extended stay room I have seen. Nice appliances with the basic dishes and utensils. Not mis-matched and missing like most similar hotels. Dish soap and all that is provided. Stop by the grocery store on your way in to stock your kitchen if you want to cook. No restaurants within walking distance. Bathroom was large with a make-up counter and separate sink. Our room was on the freeway side, and though they had four panned double windows, the noise was still pretty constant. No complaints and big thumbs up for service, cleanliness and amenities.

I have been staying at this hotel for over 5 years. This hotel currently is in the midst of many changes. I stay at least a week monthly due to medical needs and do not stay here for vacation related visits. I have stayed for extended trips up to 6 weeks. The hotel currently is in desperate need for room remodels. The inside of the rooms are beat up, out of date and missing basic needs. Currently the staff from the GM down is new or constantly changing. I continue to stay here even though there are currently many issues facing this specific location because they have always gone out of their way to make me feel comfortable. The staff does their best in all situations. I hope the ownership does what's right for this location and brings it back to the high standards it was at when it opened and pre-pandemic.

This has been one of the best hotels I ever stayed at in LA so far! I stayed here recently for a week and it was amazing. From check in to check out the staff have been so sweet and nice. I was worried because when I looked up the hotel on Yelp it was reported as closed, so I called the hotel and the staff answered and reassured me that they are open and weren’t sure why the Yelp page is showing it as closed. They have been so helpful on the phone answering my questions and helping me and always greeting me in the mornings and nights when we would leave. I loved the room too because it came with a kitchen and fridge and since we were staying a week we were able to store drinks in the fridge and keep them cold. I love how it came with a TV and we could watch in bed and the room was also so cold too and it made the nights so easy to sleep. I never had trouble sleeping at all! The room was spacious and really clean as well, I didn’t hear any neighbors. I did hear occasionally running upstairs but that was it. There was a big desk to work on and a bathroom with a light up mirror. I did the hotel package that came with the parking so parking was included with my package and there was free breakfast every morning! The breakfast was really good I had hot waffles and hot coffee in the morning and it was really good ! I wish we took advantage of the pool and hot tub, but maybe next time. I definitely would stay here again ! I love this hotel and it wasn't that far from the Los Angeles Airport (LAX) either! About a 13 min drive without traffic. It's a great location and you can bring pets too! I loved my stay here and would definitely come back again!
